INTRODUCTION
The Scottish Rugby Union is often left with boxes of match day programmes and official team-sheets from its international fixtures.
IMPLEMENTATION
We arranged collection and payment of delivery costs of left over programmes from Six Nations, Autumn Internationals and tour matches. We managed to sell a substantial number of programmes, with an agreed sum from each sale being sent to the Scottish Rugby Union. Rather than seeing the programmes pulped or sitting in storage, it was fulfilling to be able to raise funds for a deserving cause.
IMPACT
The SRU nominated their own Murrayfield Centenary Fund injured players’ charity to be the recipient of donations from sales of the memorabilia they sent us and it continues to benefit from our relationship.
